The Richmond Memorial Library is embarking on long term project to place information about Marlborough's history on-line.

This will be an on-going process and we will post additional information as it is gathered, reviewed, and integrated into this portion of our website.

Our initial items are listed below.

A timeline of Marlborough history, originally prepared by the Marlborough Historical Society.

Who Was Williamm Richmond? - by Florence Lord.    This article was written by former Library Director and Marlborough Historical Society member Florence S. Lord some time in the early 1980s. (14 KB PDF file)

James ConsidineThis area of our website is dedicated to the memory of James Considine.

Jim was a longtime resident of Marlborough who loved the town, it's history and shared this fondness through his writings.

We thank his family and friends for their financial support of this project.
